Anxiety & OCD

Your mind won’t shut off. You check, re-check, or seek reassurance, and the relief never lasts. Intrusive thoughts horrify you, and you’re afraid of what they might mean.

Addiction

You’ve promised yourself “this is the last time” more times than you can count. Porn, your phone, or betting apps take more of your life than you want, and the secrecy and shame are wearing you down.

Trauma

You react more strongly than a situation calls for, or you feel numb when you wish you could feel more. You keep landing in the same painful relationship patterns and don’t know why.

Change is possible. Many people find that once they understand the pattern, they can finally respond differently, with less fear, less shame, and more freedom to live the life they want.

How I help

You may understand your struggles and still feel stuck. Therapy can help you make sense of the pattern and begin responding differently.

I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and psychodynamic therapy. Together, we’ll get curious about the parts of you that react, protect, and push back, and the experiences that taught them to.

For OCD, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the primary evidence-based approach in our work, with IFS and psychodynamic work complementing it when helpful.

For addiction, we pair practical strategies to interrupt the cycle with deeper work on what the behavior has been trying to do for you.

Optional Faith Integration

If your faith is important to you, it can have a meaningful place in our work. Therapy remains distinct from confession, spiritual direction, and pastoral care.

Clients of all faith backgrounds, including those with no religious affiliation, are welcome.

Fees, insurance & privacy

Fees: Sessions are 50 minutes and $175 per session. Investing in therapy is a mindset shift where you choose to make your healing a priority. You’re worth it. Invest in yourself and enjoy the life you’ve worked so hard to build. A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available for clients with financial need.

Insurance: I’m a private-pay clinician and can provide a superbill you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. A lot of clients receive coverage with their plans but coverage varies, so check with your plan.

Privacy: What you share in therapy is confidential, within the legal and ethical limits I’ll explain in our first session. Sessions are held by secure video or in a private office in Long Beach. Whatever you’re struggling with, you’ll be met without judgment.

Start with a free 15–20 minute consultation. We’ll talk about what’s going on, a possible approach, and whether working together seems like a good fit. You’ll leave with a clear next step, whether or not we work together.

The first few sessions help us understand your needs and build a treatment plan together.
